Convert PDF Colors
Convert colour spaces within a PDF for print or digital workflows.
Overview
The Convert PDF Colors tool changes the colour space of all content within a PDF document. You can convert between RGB, CMYK, and Grayscale colour spaces. This is essential for preparing documents for professional printing, where CMYK colour is typically required, or for optimising file size by converting to grayscale.
How to Use
- Navigate to Convert PDF Colors from the Conversion menu.
- Upload your file using drag-and-drop, Browse Files, or cloud storage (Dropbox / Google Drive).
- Select the target colour space.
- Click Convert to process.
- Download the result when processing completes.
Options
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Target colour space | Choose the desired colour space: RGB, CMYK, or Grayscale. |
| ICC profile | Optionally specify an ICC colour profile for accurate colour conversion. |
Tips & Notes
Converting from RGB to CMYK may produce subtle colour shifts. Always review the converted PDF to ensure the colours meet your expectations before sending to print.
Grayscale conversion is irreversible — colour information is discarded. Keep a copy of the original if you may need the colour version later.
