Edit Metadata
View and modify PDF document properties such as title, author, and keywords.
Overview
The Edit Metadata tool lets you view, edit, or remove the metadata properties stored in a PDF document. Metadata includes fields such as Title, Author, Subject, Keywords, Creator, and Producer. Correct metadata improves searchability, accessibility, and document management.
How to Use
- Navigate to Edit Metadata from the Editing menu.
- Upload your file using drag-and-drop, Browse Files, or cloud storage (Dropbox / Google Drive).
- Review the current metadata fields and edit or clear them as needed.
- Click Save to process.
- Download the result when processing completes.
Options

| Title | The document title displayed in PDF viewers and search results. |
| Author | The name of the document author. |
| Subject | A brief description of the document's subject matter. |
| Keywords | Comma-separated keywords for search and categorisation. |
| Creator | The application that originally created the document. |
| Producer | The application that produced the PDF. |
Tips & Notes
Tip
Setting a meaningful Title is especially important for accessibility. Screen readers use the document title to announce the PDF to users.
Note
To remove all metadata for privacy purposes, clear every field before saving. This strips both the Info dictionary and XMP metadata stream.
