Edit PDF
Add markup, annotations, text, shapes, and images to PDF documents.
Overview
The Edit PDF tool provides a visual editor for annotating and marking up PDF documents. You can add text boxes, highlights, shapes, arrows, stamps, and images directly onto any page. Annotations are added as a separate layer and can optionally be flattened into the page content.
How to Use
- Navigate to Edit PDF from the Editing menu.
- Upload your file using drag-and-drop, Browse Files, or cloud storage (Dropbox / Google Drive).
- Use the toolbar to select an annotation tool (text, highlight, shape, etc.).
- Click or draw on the page to place annotations.
- Click Save to process.
- Download the result when processing completes.
Options
| Tool | Description |
|---|---|
| Text | Add free-text annotations anywhere on the page. |
| Highlight | Highlight, underline, or strikethrough existing text. |
| Shapes | Draw rectangles, circles, lines, and arrows. |
| Images | Insert images (logos, signatures, stamps) onto the page. |
| Freehand | Draw freehand with a pen tool. |
Tips & Notes
If you need annotations to be permanently merged into the page (so they cannot be edited or removed), use Flatten Annotations after editing.
This tool adds annotations on top of existing content. It does not modify the underlying text of the PDF. To edit the actual text content, convert to Word first, edit, then convert back.
